Tillie and Matt is a small company of actors and teachers who are experienced in working with children. We love making the curriculum creative and believe that any topic can be made fun and exciting.
We provide educational workshops, ‘discos with a difference’ and graduation and end-of-year parties.
Tillie and Matt is experienced in creating bespoke workshops around themes ranging from ‘Brazil’ to the ‘The Wizard of Oz’ and ‘Going on a Bear Hunt’. We have worked with children in Nursery up to Year Six and can do anything from exciting drama workshops to an interactive Mad Hatter’s Tea Party for the entire school. We are happy to work on both small and larger projects. We recently created a whole school production of ‘The Jungle Book’ that we did over two and a half days with each year group performing their own section of the story.
We conform to the highest standards of health and safety; all our entertainers come with public liability insurance, DBS disclosures and all our electrical equipment is PAT-tested.
We are competitively priced and can provide you with a fixed price based on contact time and the number of entertainers required for the project.

Tillie and Matt is all about creating a super fun party in a safe and controlled environment. We use entertainers who can DJ because they know how to fully engage children and give them a fantastic and unforgettable party. With a mix of free dancing, disco games and competitions, led by our entertainers, we will ensure everyone has an amazing time. We bring disco lights, smoke machine, bubble machine, glow bracelets, special prizes and medals. We also bring props for our dance off and competitions, which include inflatables, hats and pom-poms.
Exceptional entertainers! All the children were fully engaged throughout and throughly enjoyed themselves. It’s very hard to control a very large group of children at a school Disco but Tillie and Matt parties nailed it! Thank you and see you at our future Discos/Events. Kindest regards Oaklands parents association, Loughton

Testimonials from the professionals (schools)
“We are so pleased to have found ‘Tillie & Matt’ for our school parties and celebrations. They are an excellent company because they have such a varied repertoire of games and activities, which they deliver with such enthusiasm. I cannot recommend them highly enough as they are the best visiting company we have ever had at Holy Family.
The first time that we have been able to sit back, relax and really enjoy the children’s party.”
At such a busy and stressful time of the year I really appreciated this element of Christmas being led by such talented artists who managed the party really well.”

“I work in a primary school and as part of a graduation day we had parties by Tillie and Matt. The party was a brilliant experience for all of the children. The entertainer was dressed as a fictional character and engaged the children for the entire time. They had so much fun with bubble machines, magic tricks and face painting. I would recommend this company to anyone having a party for their child or to any school to celebrate achievements. There were lots of prizes given out and the entertainer had a wide range of activities to excite the children. If you are working in a school this would be a great memorable experience for pupils, which also helps them to socialise and encourages them to use language. Thank you so much Tillie and Matt!”
